ALAMEDA COUNTY, CA — Love birds planning to tie the knot on Valentine’s Day can get married in Dublin or Oakland, county officials said. The Alameda County Clerk-Recorder’s Office will be taking reservations for wedding ceremonies in both locations on February 14th, 2018, between 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Officials said the Dublin office, located at 7600 Dublin Boulevard, has an outdoor courtyard for ceremonies and the Oakland office has a room designated for weddings. Those interested must make their reservations, pay a $75 fee and obtain their marriage license at the Clerk-Recorder’s main office location in Oakland by February 13. Each ceremony will take about 20 minutes, according to county officials.
Officials said walk-in service will also be available on Valentine’s Day at the Oakland location on a first-come, first-served basis. The Oakland office is located at 1106 Madison Street in Oakland. The Clerk-Recorder’s customer service staff can be reached by calling (510) 272-6362.
