PCC Seeks Teams for Inaugural "Hoops for Awareness" Basketball Tournament Feb. 22

Pasadena City College President’s Asia-American and Pacific Islander Advisory Committee in collaboration with American Cancer Society Southern California Chinese Relay For Life present:

“Hoops for Awareness” 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament

Sunday, February 22, 2015 at Pasadena City College (PCC)

This feeder event for the Southern California Chinese Relay For Life (SCCRFL) seeks to raise cancer awareness in the greater LA/San Gabriel Valley API Community. The two-round, 3-on-3 tournament begins at 8:00 AM follow with a 5-on-5 full court coaches/celebrity vs. LA County Sheriffs game at 2 p.m. This is a very cause, your support will help American Cancer Society...“Together we create more birthday”

Come out to show your support by sign up a team to play, only take 3 players to form a team and/or join us at the press conference at 1:30 PM to kick-off our inaugural coaches/celebrity vs LA County Sheriffs.

Coaches/Celebrity vs. Los Angeles County Sheriffs. Scheduled players for the Coaches/Celebrities game: Oliver “Doc” Eslinger, Caltech Men’s Coach, Garrett Ohara, Flintridge Prep Men’s Coach, Danny Pudi, actor (“Community”), Brian Yang, actor (“Hawaii Five-0”), Brogan Berry, former All-Ivy women’s basketball player, Los Angeles County Sheriffs and more.
