"Power Breakfast" an intimate conversation with Ulan - author, radio personality, entrepreneur, community advocate, celebrity emcee...the titles go on.
Our circle of friends are excited to meet Ulan on 3/1/16 at the San Gabriel Country Club. It took some logistic to organize and get a group of very busy ladies together. For me she is a dear friend because our baby girls, my Vanessa & her Simona grow up together and now both of them are in college.
Simona, member of the Tournment Of Rose Queen & Court in 2015, now study at UPenn came to Westridge at 5th grade & I was the room mom. I solicited Ulan help with volunteering in Girl Scout, field trip chaperon often and that is the beginning of our friendship. We share lots of common view on parenting & community service values and the rest is history.

Here is one of the tool to help you stay positive. Learn to appreciate each other's strength & talent, respect that we are all different & express gratitude often. Remember to "focus on the positive " - Be grateful and appreciated for what you have and not be bitter on what you can't control. New emerging psychology studies show that when a person feels gratitude, forgiveness, reports higher level of happiness and satisfaction.
Unsatisfied desires are our worst enemies in our journey to find joy and happiness. Learning to accept the imperfections in our life, respecting each other’s differences & expressing gratitude for what you have, are some of the keys to maintain a balance life and achieving happiness.
“Happiness, like unhappiness, is a proactive choice” by Stephen Covey; it is an inside job and not dependent on wealth, fame or possession.
Remember happiness is LOVE.
