Reminder: Celebrate 100 Years at Lacy Park on Saturday

Happy Birthday San Marino! I have to say, 100 years never looked so good.

Join the rest of your neighbors in celebrating this milestone by attending a special Community Birthday Party at Lacy Park on Saturday, April 27.

“This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and a very, very special occasion. We encourage everyone to come out and enjoy the festivities," said Centennial Committee member Randy Shulman. 

The party, which will be held from 11 a.m to 2 p.m., will feature plenty of entertainment and fun, including train rides, pony rides, a juggler, balloon artist, photo booth, and more. The food court will offer a range of options including barbeque, Mexican, and San Marino’s own Tony’s Pizza.

“Come join in the community fun by competing in tug o’ war, a hula hoop contest, sack race, pie eating contest or a water balloon toss,” urges Shulman.

The city was incorporated on April 25, 1913.
