Volunteers Needed for National Letter Carrier Food Drive

The nation's largest one-day food collection drive will be held on Saturday, May 11.

Volunteers are urgently needed for the upcoming National Letter Carrier Food Drive on Saturday, May 11. 

Assistance is needed at the San Marino, Sierra Madre, Altadena, Pasadena and Monrovia post office sites. Help is also needed for warehouse shifts to help unload and get the collected food into the warehouse.

More than 1,400 National Association of Letter Carrier (NALC) branches in nearly every city, state and territory will have letter carriers, family members and thousands of volunteers out and about to help collect, sort and distribute the cans, boxes and jars of non-perishable food items left in bags next to costumers’ mailboxes. The NALC’s effort is the nation’s largest one-day food-collection drive.
