AARP is Recruiting Volunteer Tax Preparers

AARP's Tax Aide program provides free Federal and State income tax returns for seniors and low to moderate income taxpayers. Last year Tax-Aide volunteers assisted over 2000 taxpayers in Marin County. Offices are located throughout the County in Novato, Fairfax, Terra Linda, San Rafael, and Mill Valley. No prior tax preparation experience is required. Training begins in mid-January, and the six Marin offices are open February 1st through April 15th.
