Crash Backs Up Traffic On Richmond–San Rafael Bridge
The crash delayed Golden Gate Transit's Bus Route 40 in both directions, according to the agency.
SAN RAFAEL, CA — A crash backed up traffic Monday morning on the Richmond–San Rafael Bridge.
The two-car crash was reported at 7:50 a.m. on westbound Interstate 580, according to the California Highway Patrol's incident log.
The right lane was initially blocked westbound on the decline, backing up traffic to Canal Boulevard, KCBS Radio reported on Twitter. Although the crash has since been cleared, traffic remained slow in the area.
