The agency has continued to operate regular service amid the pandemic. Only supplemental school routes — routes numbered in the 100-series — have been suspended during school closures as well as the Muir Woods Shuttle. Supplemental school routes and Muir Woods Shuttle service will resume when school and park closures are lifted, according to Marin Transit.
Marin's health order goes into effect at noon Wednesday. Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit District also announced Tuesday that face coverings are required at station platforms and on board SMART trains.
