Firefighters from San Rafael, Marinwood and Larkspur spent most of Thursday at Third Street and Grand Avenue in San Rafael raising funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s annual Fill the Boot campaign.

The firefighters have been supporting the cause since 1954, according to San Rafael Fire Chief Chris Gray.
