Freezing Temperatures Expected In San Rafael
Overnight lows are forecast in the upper 20s, according to the National Weather Service.
SAN RAFAEL, CA — Freezing temperatures are expected in the North Bay Monday night through Tuesday morning, prompting the National Weather Service to issue a freeze warning for the region, including Marin County.
The freeze warning is in effect from midnight Monday until 9 a.m. Tuesday for the North Bay's interior valleys, including the cities of Napa, Novato, Petaluma, Rohnert Park, San Rafael and Santa Rosa.
Sub-freezing temperatures are expected, according to the NWS. Overnight lows are forecast in the upper 20s.

"Freeze conditions can kill crops and other sensitive vegetation, and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing," weather officials warned.
