Marin Blaze Shutters Highway 101 (UPDATED)

Updated: The freeway was closed in both directions at 2:19 p.m. but has since fully reopened according to the California Highway Patrol.

MARIN COUNTY, CA — Crews are battling a wildfire that has shuttered Highway 101 in both directions at the Marin City / Rodeo Drive, the Marin County Fire Department said.

Crews have stopped the fire's forward progress and no further evacuations have been ordered, the Fire Department said.
