Marin Man Convicted In Gang Slaying: Report

Edenilson Misael Alfaro, a 27-year-old co-defendant, is in county jail awaiting his trial according to the report.

NOVATO, CA — A Marin County jury earlier this month convicted a former Novato High School student on murder charges in connection with the 2016 gang-related slaying of his classmate, The Marin Independent Journal reports.

Juan Carlos Martinez Henriquez, 22, was also found guilty of attempted murder and mayhem and faces 25 years to life in state prison according to the report.

His conviction culminated a second trial after the first one in October ended in a mistrial according to the report.
