Marin Swears In New Supervisor, Board Undergoes Reorganization
The Marin County Board of Supervisors next week will swear in a new supervisor and then conduct its annual reorganization.
MARIN COUNTY, CA — The Marin County Board of Supervisors next week will swear in a new supervisor and then conduct its annual reorganization by selecting a president, vice president and second vice president from among the board members.
Stephanie Moulton-Peters will be sworn in at Tuesday's meeting as the District 3 supervisor, representing her hometown of Mill Valley and other parts of southern Marin County.
Moulton-Peters, previously a Mill Valley city councilwoman, easily won the seat in the March election over two other candidates and will replace the retiring Kate Sears.

District 2 Supervisor Katie Rice has served as board president for the past year leading up to Tuesday's annual reorganization.
