Marin Transit Agencies Offer Free Rides To Vaccine Appointments
Marin transportation agencies began offering free transit trips Wednesday to residents traveling to a coronavirus vaccination appointment.
MARIN COUNTY, CA — Marin Transit, Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit and the Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation District began offering free transit trips Wednesday to residents traveling to a coronavirus vaccination appointment.
Riders will be required to show their physical or digital same-day appointment confirmation at time of boarding to be eligible, according to the three transit agencies.
Free rides will be offered on bus, train and ferry services for eligible riders both going to and returning from their appointment.

Marin Transit is also offering free shuttle service between the Larkspur SMART station and the Larkspur Landing Ferry Terminal, where a vaccination clinic opened Sunday.
The ferry terminal clinic will have the capacity to administer up to 2,000 doses per day in the coming weeks.

Vaccinations are currently available in Marin County to health care workers, long-term care facility staff and residents and all county residents age 65 and older.
