Marin Transit To Expand Service To Avoid Crowing Amid Coronavirus
Marin Transit will offer additional routes to accommodate as many passengers as possible and allow for adequate physical distancing.
MARIN COUNTY, CA — Marin Transit will begin operating additional supplemental routes next week in an effort to accommodate as many passengers as possible and allow for adequate physical distancing on buses during the coronavirus pandemic.
Beginning Monday, the following routes will operate Monday through Saturday. They will provide more frequent service on select high ridership corridors to quickly connect passengers to their destinations, according to Marin Transit.
- Route 117 provides additional service along Route 17 between Marin City, Mill Valley, Strawberry and the San Rafael Transit Center.
- Route 122 provides additional service along Route 22 between the San Rafael Transit Center and College of Marin via 4th Street in San Rafael.
- Route 135 provides service along Route 35 in San Rafael between the Canal and San Rafael Transit Center.
- Route 171 provides service from Novato to Marin City serving all Highway 101 bus pad stops and the San Rafael Transit Center.
