Multiple-Vehicle Crash Blocks Lanes On Highway 101 In San Rafael

SAN RAFAEL, CA — A multiple-vehicle crash involving an overturned vehicle blocked four lanes on Highway 101 in San Rafael early Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The collision was first reported at 4:56 a.m. just south of the Interstate Highway 580 junction, according to the CHP's incident log.

By 5:30 a.m., only the No. 1 lane was open. Four lanes of northbound Highway 101 were blocked.

The roadway was cleared at 6:40 a.m., the CHP said. No information on injuries or arrests was immediately provided.
