San Rafael Crews Modify San Rafael Parking Area

Streets Division staffers made some modifications to the upper parking area on Robert Dollar Drive.

SAN RAFAEL, CA — Crews modified a San Rafael parking area in an effort to reduce noise complaints and loitering after dark, city officials said.

Streets Division staffers made some modifications to the upper parking area on Robert Dollar Drive.

Maintenance workers and members of the city’s paving crew extended the paved area to accommodate new parallel parking spaces.

The paint and signs crew painted new signs and placed boulders to block the remaining area.

The fire road access gate will be moved closer to the road to limit the illegal parking that occurs in that area, city officials said.
