San Rafael Police Evidence Gets New Digs

SAN RAFAEL, CA — The San Rafael Police Department’s evidence area has a new location with more storage space.

The city’s Facilities team’s move to reconfigure the SRPD’s evidence cage followed a mid-March request from the Police Department, city officials said.

Facilities team members Omar Garcia, Anthoney Heaven and Michael Rieser completed the project within weeks of when the request came in, city officials said.

Existing materials were reused for the project to help keep costs down, city officials said.
