Street Sweeping Returning To San Rafael On Monday

Here's how to find when street sweepers will make their way to your neighborhood.

SAN RAFAEL, CA — The City of San Rafael will resume street sweeping on Monday, the city announced. Sweeper routes, run by the public works department, can be found using the city's map.

The map, available online, allows residents to see when their streets will be swept. Residents are reminded to move their cars and remove anything that blocks the street or water drainage system on sweeping days.

The city reminded residents that yard clippings and other yard waste should be disposed of by composting or using a green cart. San Rafael charges no extra fees for using up to two additional carts or paper bags of up to 32 gallons, according to the city's website.
