Suspicious Marin County Death Probed

MARIN COUNTY, CA — The discovery of a body in China Camp Sunday afternoon is being investigated as a suspicious death according to the Marin County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded at around 12:40 p.m. to the 1600 block of N. San Pedro Road to the report of a body possibly sighted, the Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies found a deceased male around 30 feet from the roadway according to the Sheriff’s Office.

“We are currently treating the death as suspicious and our Detectives and Coroner Investigators are working together on the investigation,” the Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.
