Traffic Advisory Issued For Northbound Highway 101 In San Rafael
Caltrans officials advise drivers on northbound Highway 101 in Marin County to take caution during the closure.
SAN RAFAEL, CA — The California Department of Transportation has issued a traffic advisory for Monday night, announcing that three lanes of the Central San Rafael exit on northbound U.S. Highway 101 will be closed from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. The off-ramp will be fully closed from 11 p.m. Monday to 6 a.m. Tuesday.
Caltrans is continuing work on the Harbor Bay Bridge Replacement Project, and starting Monday, the project team will begin removal work on the original structure at the northbound Central San Rafael Highway 101 off-ramp, officials said.
Caltrans officials advise drivers on northbound Highway 101 in Marin County to take caution during the closure and recommend that those traveling to San Rafael to plan to follow detours at the North San Pedro Road or Francisco Boulevard exits.
