Wires In Roadway Prompt San Rafael Road Closure

UPDATE: The road reopened by 2:15 p.m.

SAN RAFAEL, CA — Low-hanging telephone wires prompted a road closure Wednesday morning in San Rafael.

Mission Avenue was closed between B/Wilkins Street and Court/Mission Avenue due to wires in the roadway, according to the San Rafael Police Department.

AT&T crews were responding to the scene.
