1,000 Toys Collected During SRPD’s ‘Stuff The Cruiser’ Fundraiser
The toys were given to more than 40 Contra Costa County children in need in time for the holidays.
SAN RAMON, CA — Community members donated more than 1,000 new toys during the San Ramon Police Department’s annual "Stuff the Cruiser" toy drives. The toys, which were collected in police cars parked in front of several locations in San Ramon, were given to more than 40 Contra Costa County children in need in time for the holidays.
Police said volunteers worked for a day to wrap all of the gifts before handing them out to about 25 families.
