3 Accused Of Shoplifting From Home Depot Arrested After Chase
The trio allegedly stole power tools from a Home Depot in San Ramon, according to police.

SAN RAMON, CA — Three men suspected of shoplifting power tools from a Home Depot in San Ramon this morning were arrested after a short pursuit, according to police. San Ramon police were called to the Home Depot at 2750 Crow Canyon Road at 6:14 a.m., police Sgt. Nathan Jones said.
The suspects fled on Interstate Highway 680. The pursuit was short as the suspects crashed about four miles away after exiting the freeway at Sycamore Valley Road, Jones said. The suspects ran from the crash scene, but all three were apprehended. They were identified as Kamoni Gaines, 26, Daniel Hooper, 26, and John Williams, 31.
Williams, who was identified as the driver, was arrested on suspicion of grand theft, evading and conspiracy. Gaines and Hooper were also arrested on suspicion of grand theft and conspiracy and Gaines for a
probation violation, Jones said.
