Apply Now For Affordable Housing In Tri-Valley
These brand-new, 3- and 4-bedroom homes in Livermore are built by Lennar. Take an online tour.
SAN RAMON, CA — If you have been struggling to buy a home of your own, now is your chance to purchase an affordable home right here in the Tri-Valley. The brand-new Lennar development in Livermore has set aside homes at reduced prices.
It's one of two developments with new affordable housing in Alameda County, and there's also one in Contra Costa County.
A second one in CoCo recently finished accepting applications.

You can put in applications for any or all of the communities, plus, there's a link at the end of this story to join a list that will inform you of future opportunities through Hello Housing, which has contracts with several cities and towns.
Livermore:
The pre-application period is open for brand-new homes offered at Auburn Grove. The beautiful development by Lennar Homes includes three (3) affordable three-bedroom homes, and one (1) affordable four-bedroom home.

The price of the 3-bedroom homes will be $374,654 and the 4-bedroom home is $412,182. Take an online tour.
These four homes are set aside for low-income households earning 80-percent of the Area Median Income.
80-percent of AMI is listed below:
- 1 person: $73,100
- 2 people: $83,550
- 3 people: $94,000
- 4 people: $104,400
- 5 people: $112,800
- 6 people: $121,150
- 7 people: $129,500
The deadline to apply is 5 p.m. next Monday.
You will receive extra points on your application if any of the following are true: you currently live in Livermore, you currently work in Livermore, you are an emergency responder for the City of Livermore, you are a teacher for Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District, you are a US military veteran, or you currently have subsidized housing in Livermore.

Hayward:
Greystar is now accepting applications for brand-new affordable rental units in Hayward.
The Mix at SoHay is at 29213 Mission Blvd. The Below Market Rate (BMR) rentals includes a mixture of 20 studio, 1- bedroom, and 2-bedroom units. The application period is now through 5:00 p.m. on March 31.
A lottery will be conducted for all applications received by the deadline.
Concord:
Willow Terrace, brand-new townhomes built by Discovery Homes are being offered to people who make up to 120 percent of AMI. There are four (4) 3-bedroom, 3-bath units available. The purchase price will be $526,466. Be sure to factor in the Home Owner Association dues that are currently $351 per month.
120-percent annual income AMI is listed below:
- 3 people: $128,750
- 4 people: $143,050
- 5 people: $154,500
- 6 people: $165,950
- 7 people: $177,400
Lafayette:
Affordable townhomes are being built in Lafayette, but the pre-application period has passed.
