Black Friday Hours, Holiday Event: City Center Bishop Ranch

SAN RAMON, CA — Black Friday shoppers looking for deals at San Ramon's City Center Bishop Ranch will have an opportunity amid a very merry holiday atmosphere.

The center is slated to be open on Black Friday and shoppers can contact individual City Center retailers for special hours and deals — some are offering extended shopping times and sales.

Although Black Friday traditionally kicks off the holiday shopping season, festivities are already underway at the center. The second annual Tree Lighting Ceremony and Holiday Event is scheduled Friday, November 22, from 5-9 p.m.

The event will feature a countdown with Santa and live musical performances from Pride & Joy, the Monte Vista High School Marching Band, and San Ramon Voices.

Other Nov. 22 festivities include:
• Lighting of a 50-foot Shasta fir tree, which will be adorned by nearly 14,000 lights and ornaments
• Complimentary gift wrapping by Cirque Du Soleil
• Hot cocoa and cider cheer stations provided by Williams Sonoma
• Selfie photo opportunities with Santa Claus
• Faux snowfall
• Ice skating at the Kristi Yamaguchi Holiday Ice Skating Rink (skating ticket information and hours can be found at https://www.citycenterbishopranch.com/ice-rink/)

Also during the Nov. 22 event there will be One Warm Coat donation bins located at the concierge on Level 1. Gently used coats and financial donations are being accepted. The first 100 people to donate a coat will receive a complimentary ticket to the Kristi Yamaguchi Holiday Ice Skating Rink.
