Broken Fire Hydrant Caused Road Closures Thursday Morning
No, there wasn't a geyser in downtown San Ramon this morning.

SAN RAMON, CA- Lanes were closed due to flooding in San Ramon this morning after a fire hydrant was hit. Water gushed high into the sky, but was quickly taken shut down and cleaned up by police and fire crews.
Around 9 a.m., San Ramon Police Department released this statement:
If you happened to be in the area of You might want to avoid the intersection of Crow Canyon Rd and Indian Rice Rd for a while. We're dealing with a little bit of an issue. Numerous lanes closed.

As of 10:20 a.m., officials confirmed that all was cleared up and lanes were back open.
