Cal High Investigates Racist, Homophobic Stickers
"It is deeply disappointing that this kind of behavior continues to take place on the Cal High campus," school officials wrote.
SAN RAMON, CA — San Ramon Valley Unified School District officials continue to investigate offensive stickers found around campus at Cal High.
Two unknown people placed 100 racist and homophobic stickers outdoors on the night of March 24, DanvilleSanRamon.com reported. SRVUSD is continuing its investigation into the matter.
"It is deeply disappointing that this kind of behavior continues to take place on the Cal High campus and we want you to know that we take these incidents very seriously," wrote Cal High administrators in an email to families. "In this particular case, we did not send a communication about the incident as soon as it happened. That was a mistake and we are deeply sorry. We should have immediately informed our community."

Cal High said it will provide training on dealing with racist, sexist, homophobic incidents, explicitly state that such actions will not be tolerated in the student code of conduct, provide counseling and more.
School officials said they recognize that such events are especially frustrating when the name of the individual responsible cannot be revealed. While the school said it cannot legally publicly identify the perpetrator, it intends to "take swift and appropriate action."
