Coach Keeps Kids On Track — From A Distance: San Ramon Hero

SAN RAMON, CA — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we’re working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.
This submission comes from Kelly Wiese, who nominated her CrossFit coach and daughter's weightlifting coach Edwin Johnson of San Ramon.

Job: Youth Community Development Director of the Lift US Foundation
Reason for recognition: He has offered virtual training for all the kids 7 days a week. He creates personal workout sessions for them. He offers stretching, gymnastics and cardio training when they aren't weight lifting.

One thing to know: He personally delivered bars and weights to all the kids so they could continue to train from home and prepare them for upcoming Nationals and other competitions.
