Firefighters Extinguish Portsmouth Court Fire
A Monday afternoon garage fire erupted in the 20 block of Portsmouth Court.
Firefighters extinguished a two-alarm garage fire on the 20 block of Portsmouth Court on Monday afternoon.
Emergency crews responded to the area for a reported structure fire at about noon and found the garage of the home engulfed in flames, San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District spokeswoman Kimberly French said.
Firefighters had the fire completely contained by 1:30 p.m. No other homes were damaged in the blaze.

The fire caused heavy damage to the garage and vehicles parked outside, along with much of the two-story, single family home.
Residents were inside when the fire started, but escaped safely. There isn't an initial estimate of the monetary damage and the cause of the fire is under investigation

Monday's fire comes at the heels of a Saturday blaze on the 900 block of Lexington Place that damaged two homes.
