Kitten Yoga Is A Thing In The Tri-Valley
The upcoming class is part of an effort by Valley Humane Society to raise awareness and find homes for local adoptable animals.

SAN RAMON, CA — Participants will bring their own yoga mats, and they might be wearing long pants and sleeves because kitties will be free-roaming.
It's all part of an upcoming "Kitten Yoga" class being held at the Fabletics store in Stoneridge Shopping Center, Sept. 8 at 9 a.m. The free event is a partnership with Valley Humane Society, Stoneridge and Fabletics to raise awareness and find homes for local adoptable animals. It's hoped that participating Kitten yogis will either adopt a feline or make a contribution to the nonprofit Valley Humane.
The class has filled up, but there is still plenty of opportunity. After Kitten Yoga, Valley Humane will hold dog and cat adoptions from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Stoneridge's Grand Court (2351 Stoneridge Mall Road).
