A Quail Run Elementary School fourth grader will go to the State Capital on Thursday to be recognized for her 9-1-1 call that helped bring medical assistance to her mother last month.
Alexa Lewis, 8, called 9-1-1 after her mother started vomiting, fainting and was having a hard time breathing. Medical personnel responded and Lewis' mother recovered.
