Man Injured In Three-Vehicle Crash: San Ramon
Speed appears to be a contributing factor in a crash that left at least one man injured.
SAN RAMON, CA — A man was hospitalized Sunday night following a three-vehicle crash at the Bollinger Canyon Road offramp from Interstate Highway 680, San Ramon police said.
Police Cpl. Mike Pistello said that at about 8:10 p.m. Sunday, a car came off southbound I-680 at Bollinger Canyon Road, apparently at a high speed. That vehicle slammed into a car near the Bollinger Canyon Road overcrossing, which in turn was shoved into a third vehicle, Pistello said.
An occupant of the first vehicle, an adult man, was taken by ambulance to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, a regional trauma center. Pistello could not comment on the nature or severity of that man's injuries.
