Oakland A’s player Josh Reddick took a break from Major League Baseball’s 2015 spring training in Arizona to show his support of a Dublin teen battling stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma.

A smiling Reddick posed on the baseball field this week sporting scarves bearing the #CamilleStrong hashtag in honor of 19-year-old Dublin resident Camille Chabot.

Chabot is a former Dublin Young Citizen of the Year and she and her hashtag have become famous in the Tri-Valley area as she pushes to beat her cancer. When Chabot was diagnosed, a movement began in the Chabot household. It quickly spread throughout the tight-knit community and soon the #CamilleStrong rally cry could be heard all over Dublin. Since the summer, hundreds of photos from all over the community have been posted on social media using the #CamilleStrong hashtag.

Chabot’s hashtag has even made its way to the White House when it was recently spotted on Air Force One after President Obama posted for a quick photo while wearing a t-shirt in support of Chabot.
