Pool Closure Leaves San Ramon Swimmers Without Water: VIDEO

200 youth swim club members were reportedly told Friday that the pools at San Ramon Golf Course would not open for practices this season.

SAN RAMON, CA- Local youth swimmers are fish out of water after surprise pool closures at San Ramon Golf Course, according to ABC news.

ABC News reports that last weekend should have been the first practice for the Aqua Bear swim club, instead they were informed Friday that the pools are closed due to financial instability.

The closure has reportedly put out 200 swimmers ranging from 8 to 18-years-old.

Club member parent, Alyssa Hove, explained that the the club members had already paid their dues for the season, stating, they received a "very short email Friday afternoon that stated that we would each receive a refund."
