Rain Causing Crashes, Street Flooding, Power Outages, Airport Delays
The rain started overnight and it's still pouring in some places, causing widespread problems.

Rain is causing a general mess around the East Bay this morning.
The biggest traffic backup is on I-580 in Livermore, where a big rig crash is producing delays estimated at six hours long.
I-880 is also a trouble spot, with multiple crashes reported, some with injuries.

Street flooding is reported at the usual intersections. If you have some in your neighborhood, you know which streets to avoid. Specifically Fremont and further south in San Jose are reporting problems.
SFO is reporting weather-related delays. If you’re catching a plane or meeting someone at the airport, check with the airline before heading to the airport.

And wet weather caused several power outages this morning throughout the Bay Area, according to PG&E. Spokeswoman Jacqueline Ratto said most were in the North Bay, but hundreds are without power in the East Bay. “PG&E is working to restore power safely and as quickly as possible,” Ratto said.
