Real Estate Listings Plummet In Tri-Valley, Throughout East Bay

The market was much less active than even what was expected during this slower time of year, the Bay East Association of Realtors said.

TRI-VALLEY, CA — November was a slooow month for buyers and sellers in the Tri-Valley area and East Bay, the Bay East Association of Realtors reports. The real estate market slows down as the holiday season approaches, but the association said in a press release that real estate activity this November "dropped much more" than expected.

Compared to last November, the number of homes listed dropped 56 percent in Dublin, 41 percent in Livermore, 33 percent in Danville, 17 percent in Alamo, according to the association. San Ramon and Pleasanton saw more modest drops at five and three percent, respectively.

Alamo saw no change in terms of homes sold, but Livermore saw a 22 percent decline, Danville saw a 14 percent decline, San Ramon and Pleasanton both saw 8 percent declines, and Dublin saw a 7 percent decline, according to the association.
