San Ramon Dog Dies After Being Attacked By Trainer’s Dog: Report
The dog was being cared for in Oakley while the family was vacationing.

SAN RAMON, CA — A San Ramon dog was killed and another seriously injured while boarding with Oakley-based dog trainer, according to a report by ABC 7 News. San Ramon resident Jane Cresswell told ABC 7 that she left her two animals in the care of dog trainer Dawn Smith while the family was away on vacation in May.
Cresswell saidSmith’s own dog attacked the two beloved family pets during their stay in Oakley. Since the attack, the surviving dog has endured several surgeries and has racked up about $26,000 in veterinary bills.
