San Ramon Police Search For Man After Interrupted Burglary

He wore all black and made off with a guitar, police said. Officers searched an area near the borders of San Ramon and Danville.

SAN RAMON, CA — San Ramon police have confirmed a report of a burglary interrupted Thursday at a public storage facility in the area of San Ramon Boulevard.

A search for the suspect was in progress as of early Thursday afternoon.

Twitter account @DanvilleSR_News said the suspect ran from police and had a guitar.

Police said they were searching the neighborhood west of Interstate Highway 680, near the border of San Ramon and Danville. A K-9 officer and drone were deployed amid search efforts.

San Ramon police also confirmed a @DanvilleSR_News report that an East Bay Regional Parks District police helicopter joined in the search.

The man was wearing all black. Anyone who sees anything suspicious is asked to call police at 925-973-2779.
