4 Arrested After San Ramon Neighbor Spots Mail Theives: Police
Drugs, stolen mail, burglary tools and more were recovered by police
SAN RAMON, CA — San Ramon police said officers made four arrests after a resident reported seeing people walking through their neighborhood, looking into mailboxes.
Officers working the overnight shift responded to the neighborhood over the weekend and spotted the suspect car leaving the area, police said. Police discovered two people were on probation for identity theft and another person had a felony warrant.
Officers searched the car and found a pellet gun, stolen mail, altered checks, burglary tools, drugs and paraphernalia, police said. All four people there were taken into custody.
