San Ramon's Bah Humbug! Run Canceled Due To COVID-19 Concerns
San Ramon officials are in the midst of planning other virtual holiday events for this year.

SAN RAMON, CA — The City of San Ramon has canceled its annual Bah Humbug! 5K & Kid's Dash due to concerns about the coronavirus pandemic.
The city said it made its decision after reviewing state and public health officials' recommendations about large community events.
"It was a difficult decision to make, but we believe it’s better to prioritize safety now so we can look forward to a great 2021 race season," the city wrote in an email to the community.

While the Bah Humbug! run is off, the city's Parks and Community Services Department is in the midst of planning events for the upcoming holiday season, including letters from Santa and a Dec. 10 virtual concert with Jim Brickman.
The city does not have any races planned until the Run San Ramon 5K/10K & Fastest Mile on July 4.
