San Ramon's Senior And Community Center To Reopen
Here's what to expect. Get the details on the Welcome Back Summer BBQ for older adults in San Ramon.

SAN RAMON, CA — The Alcosta Senior & Community Center will reopen to the public Tuesday after an extended closure amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Cafe Costa, which is located in the center at 9300 Alcosta Blvd., also reopened Tuesday for weekday lunch service, according to the city. Reserve your lunch one business day in advance by signing up at the counter by noon.
A five-day frozen meal pack with an entree, side dishes, milk, fruit and crackers or bread will also be available to those age 60 and older on Tuesdays for a limited time. Place orders by calling 925-973-3250.

Drop-in classes, registration classes and bingo will begin at the center July 27.
Also on the itinerary is a Welcome Back Summer BBQ event with live music at noon August 5 for older adults in the area.

"Enjoy a chance to be outdoors, enjoy a meal with friends and eat good food," the city said.
Tickets are $5 for residents and $6 for non-residents. Tickets will provide a grilled burger, chips, potato salad, drink and dessert, the city said.
