Evacuation Lifted After Suspicious Device Found In San Ramon
The device was reported in the area of a shopping center at 3110 Crow Canyon Place near Crow Canyon Road and Camino Ramon.

SAN RAMON, CA — A suspicious device prompted an evacuation in San Ramon Tuesday morning, but after a more than three-hour long investigation police said there was no threat to public safety.
San Ramon police received a call at 8 a.m. about a suspicious device in the area of 3110 Crow Canyon Place. Officers arrived at 8:04 a.m. and evacuated people from the area, according to San Ramon police Capt. Denton Carlson.
The device was described as "a pressure cooker with exposed wires" and San Ramon police requested the assistance of the Walnut Creek police bomb squad to investigate.

By 10 a.m. the Walnut Creek Police Department's bomb squad had arrived on scene, while San Ramon PD was on the ground and provided aerial support with its drone team.
Around 11 :30 a.m. San Ramon police reported that bomb squad technicians deemed the device safe and it was not a threat to public safety. The evacuation was lifted.
