Thursdays @ the VT Kicks Off This Week in Danville

The music will return on September 24.

Announcement submitted by Town of Danville:

Thursdays @ the VT, a unique entertainment series held at the Village Theatre and Art Gallery will be back for another installment of amazing music on September 24, 2015. Thursdays @ the VT offers Tri-Valley residents an opportunity to enjoy a wide range of music at the historic Village Theatre, 233 Front St. The live music series continues with The South City Blues Band.

The South City Blues Band is dedicated to the groove, providing a unique blend of swinging Jump Blues, Jazz/Funk Blues, and “old-school” R&B. Their music will get you up and moving with a variety of styles to keep it interesting, and with a rhythm section keeping it in the pocket, they never stray far from the source of their musical inspiration - the blues! Between the cutting vocals, ripping guitar lines, wailing sax, and swinging rhythm, The South City Blues Band won’t let up.
