Traffic Slow As I-680 Lanes Blocked
All lanes of southbound I-680 were closed at one point as officers responded to a crash Thursday morning.
SAN RAMON, CA — The California Highway Patrol warned drivers to expect delays after a big rig overturned Thursday morning on southbound I-680, north of Crow Canyon Road. Gravel was strewn across the roadway, CHP said.
At one point all lanes were closed, though around 9 a.m. CHP reported the #5 lane was open.
CHP suggested drivers could alternatively exit at Sycamore Valley Road and take San Ramon Valley Boulevard to Alcosta Boulevard.
