Two SRVUSD Teachers Named 'County Teacher of the Year' Representatives
Nicholas Zefeldt of Live Oak Elementary School and Cindy Egan of San Ramon Valley High have been named County Teacher of the Year representatives.

Two San Ramon Valley Unified School District teachers have been named with 20 others as Contra Costa County Teachers of the Year.
Nicholas Zefeldt, a fifth grade teacher at Live Oak Elementary School, and Cindy Egan, an environmental science/engineering teacher at San Ramon Valley High, were named the representatives from the SRVUSD.
Zefeldt, Egan and the other 20 representatives are now in the running for the County Teacher of the Year award, with the winner representing the county in the State of the Year competition.

"Once again, we have a tremendous group of teachers who have earned their school district’s highest accolades, due to their talents, work ethic, and dedication they provide for their students," Costa County Superintendent of Schools Dr. Joseph A. Ovick said. "These honored educators not only represent their individual schools and school districts, but also embody all of the exceptional teachers we are so fortunate to have in our county."
