9-Year-Old Girl Lost During Wharf To Wharf Run Reunited With Parents
A 9-year-old girl from Bahrain who somehow became lost during Sunday's Wharf to Wharf run was reunited with her parents.
SANTA CRUZ - A 9-year-old girl from Bahrain who somehow became lost during Sunday's Wharf to Wharf run from Santa Cruz to Capitola was reunited with her parents - at the finish line.
The Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Department says 9-year-old Julie Wilkerson was discovered lost during the race.
Deputies say they were able to find the girl's parents and reunite the family at the end of the race.

According to the sheriff's department, Wilkerson and her parents are visiting the Santa Cruz area from Bahrain, an island in the Persian Gulf off the coast of Saudi Arabia.
