Reports Of Second Blaze In Santa Cruz County
Smoke was seen near Bear Creek and Deer Creek roads.
SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA -- Firefighters on Monday afternoon were checking reports of smoke seen near Bear Creek Road. Witnesses reportedly said smoke was seen near Bear Creek and Dear roads around 1:38 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol log.
Santa Cruz firefighters are currently battling the Rincon Fire, which erupted Saturday and scorched 17 acres near Paradise Park.
No other information was immediately available.
