Are You Able To Help Find 'Sonny,' A 100-Pound Chesapeake Bay Retriever?

Santa Cruz-area Patch readers are asking you to help them find their 100-pound Chesapeake bay retriever, who disappeared near Boulder Creek.

SANTA CRUZ, CA - Two Santa Cruz-area Patch readers are asking you to help in finding their dog, who disappeared from the Boulder Creek area four weeks ago.

Our readers, Katie and Mark, say "Sonny" has been missing since June 21.

Katie says Sonny is a 2-yr-old, 100-pound Chesapeake bay retriever. He wears a camo collar and a flea collar, and was recently neutered. Katie says their dog might be mistaken for a chocolate labrador.

Sonny was last seen at the Boulder Creek Junction Park Dam.

Katie and Mark say they suspect a lady described as having shoulder length blonde hair in her 50's wearing a mini skirt may be involved in their case. They say the lady had an Aussie cattle dog mix with her.
