CA Assembly District 29: Election Results

CENTRAL COAST, CA — The polls are closed and Central Coast voters have decided who should represent California's 29th Assembly District, which includes Santa Cruz County (except for Watsonville) and stretches along the Monterey Bay coast into Carmel.

A sliver of the South Bay is also included in district boundaries.

Incumbent and Democrat Mark Stone of Scotts Valley is squaring off against Republican Shomir Banerjee, a physician and engineer (no candidate statement submitted. Stone led in the March primary with 76 percent of the vote.
